We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Accountant who thrives under deadlines, loves structure, and takes pride in getting the numbers right. As an Accountant at Mobilexpense, you’ll be a key player in our Finance team, owning the Accounts Payable process and supporting the monthly closing across multiple entities. You’ll handle everything from VAT returns and payroll postings to fixed assets and intercompany reconciliations, keeping our books clean and our insights sharp. This is your chance to grow fast, take ownership and make a visible impact in a collaborative, international scale-up.

What You’ll Do 

  • Manage the full AP cycle review, code, and post invoices with accuracy and speed.

  • Support month-end closings and ensure data integrity across entities.

  • Perform bank, VAT, payroll, and AP reconciliations, ensuring balances are audit-ready.

  • Prepare weekly payment runs and maintain accurate cash flow reporting.

  • Import and post payroll data and related provisions (bonuses, holidays, terminations).

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, IC listings, and assist with CIT accruals.

  • Maintain and capitalize fixed assets (including R&D) and run monthly depreciation.

  • Reconcile intercompany recharges and balances and collaborate with AR on provisions.

Job requirements

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, ideally in a fast-paced or international environment.

  • Strong understanding of AP and general accounting principles.

  • Analytical skills and AI proficiency: all team members are expected to demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and make smart use of AI tools, whatever helps them work smarter and drive results in their role.

  • Detail-focused, structured, and reliable under pressure.

  • Good communicator, fluent in English (French or Dutch is a plus).

  • Comfortable with Excel and ERP/accounting tools (ExactOnline or similar).

  • Experience in various AI technologies usage and integrations is a plus
